First Step Initiative: helping women in the Congo lift themselves out of poverty
Ellen Wolaner and Becky Jasper will talk about the Democratic Republic of the Congo and how First Step Initiative provides grants to impoverished women to start or expand small businesses.  Presentation will include coverage of two board members' August 2016 visit to Lubumbashi where they worked with our team, visited our projects and launched a sewing trade school for women.
