Count Dracula - AKA Tim Mulcrone

Count Dracula appeared and spoke about the evils of polio and the extensive efforts by Rotary International and other organizations to eradicate the disease from every country in the world.

Tim provided a fun but "scary" presentation of "The curse of Polio." Three decades ago polio was claiming 1,000 victims a day. Year to date we have had 27 cases.  The only country where polio exists today is Pakistan. Polio's allies are fatigue, apathy and myth. World Polio Day is October 24th. The CDC will be streaming a live event. Hopkins is going to have a dance down mainstreet. Richfield Rotary will have a live viewing of the CDC streaming.

The Polio Plus goal for this year is $2650 per Club in honor of the 100th Anniversary of Arch C. Klumph starting the Foundation with a $26.50.  It's a significant but doable goal.

Our HAPPY BUCKS Contributions go to Polio Plus so if you share your happiness and put in a $5 bill or higher each time, it will help fight polio!!
