AM Rotary Board and Committee Members: Club Assembly/Town Hall MeetingOur periodic club assemblies are a chance to measure how we’re doing in various areas, including community service, granting, membership recruitment, and more. We heard from board and committee members Nov. 19 that progress is being made. Adam Sienkowski brought us up to date on a new feature at our tables: a photo guide to members that’s intended to get us more acquainted with others in the club. Jacob Stonesifer focused on our community service and noted that we’re aiming for about one club service project per quarter. Lyndon Moquist has been bringing good speakers and programs to our meetings and reminded members to help. Jon Estall rallied club members to reach out to prospective sponsor; it all starts with an introduction and continues with efforts to building a relationship. After a brief hiatus, we’re back to granting toward community needs, Jon Melander and Carol Bomben explained; additional committee members are needed. Jenifer Loon is leading our world community service effort, with help from others, and she noted the projects that are underway in Honduras and Guatemala. A big thank-you was given to Mo Mara, our club administrator, who will soon leave but not before breaking in a replacement. |
