As members of Rotary, we're moved to help our community in times of crisis. A couple of weeks ago, I sent an email to friends and neighbors and was amazed that they responded by donating close to 800 pounds of food in an hour. With one teenager handling the loading of food, we filled my husband's truck and my neighbor's SUV. We drove straight to PROP, honked our horns and the PROP volunteers came out to unload the much needed food. It felt really good to know we were helping!If you'd be willing to organize a food drive among your friends and neighbors, click HERE to download a letter that you can customize and send out to your group asking for donors.
