Polio is a tenacious disease, and a strong push is needed now to root it out once and for all. Since the PolioPlus program's inception in 1985, more than two billion children have received oral polio vaccine. After 25 years of hard work, Rotary and its partners are on the brink of eradicating polio. As long as polio threatens even one child anywhere in the world, children everywhere remain at risk.

Introduced by friend and colleague John Crudele, David Goldman is a nationally known speaker and entertainer who is also the creator, producer and voice of the Laughing Stockbroker Show at ABCNews.com. As a standup comedian he has opened for Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen Degeneres, Jeff Dunham and Gary Shandling. He began his career as a stockbroker with Shearson Lehman and moved back to Minnesota to be closer to family.
Mr. Goldman shared a number of humorous anecdotes and thoughts on business and life.

SPOTLIGHT on CATHY HAUKEDAHL
Cathy grew up in Brooklyn Park and graduated from Osseo H.S. Cathy’s father was hired by Sam Walton to build Walmart stores. Cathy has four children and her husband served in the Reagan White House. Cathy has been in banking for her entire career beginning with Twin City Federal later hooking up with Flagship Bank working for Roy Terwilliger. Cathy recently began corporate defense and training for conceal and carry permit. If you weren’t at the meeting you missed Cathy’s family picture which she shared with us.
