Brice Johnson,  Regional Chief Executive Officer
Red Cross
Brice Johnson is the Regional Chief Executive Officer serving 7.3 million people, 2,000 volunteers, and 600 paid staff members in Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Douglas County (Superior) in Wisconsin. Brice comes to the region from his role as Red Cross Executive Director of Central Indiana and is beginning his third decade of organizational leadership in non-profit and higher education in both Europe and the United States.

In 2015, Brice witnessed firsthand how the Red Cross responded to a humanitarian crisis when over a million individuals and families fled to Europe seeking refuge from conflict and famine. "It was a community effort; all agencies came together to help rehome our new neighbors. Watching the Red Cross at work was inspirational and left a lasting impression." Brice jumped at the opportunity to join the Red Cross in February 2020. During his time with the Red Cross, Brice has worked to develop community resilience in Red Cross chapters, coached staff, and volunteers to better serve their neighbors, engaging youth, and diverse cultures in the work of the Red Cross. In response to local and national large-scale disasters, Brice continues to provide leadership and a vital link between elected officials and the work of the Red Cross.
